Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in our team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view.

As an Analyst within the Markets team, you will provide support to the Collateralized Loan Obligation Structuring/Origination (CLO) & CLO Syndicate teams at JPMorgan, London with a focus on structuring and modeling CLO transactions.

Job Responsibilities

Interact with senior Structuring / Originations team members, Syndicate, Legal Counsel and Rating Agencies throughout all phases of the deal
Participate in all aspects of deal execution including portfolio analysis, capital structure tranching/rating and documentation
Develop knowledge of analytic tools and models required to size transactions for the rating agencies
Modeling of CLO transactions for the rating agencies, issuer and investor clients in the various CLO modeling tools
Monitor and prepare materials to update senior bankers and marketers with information on the current market, focusing on asset and liability yields, issuance levels, and structural features
Create marketing materials for the CLO desks clients
Track and monitor the desks P&L and reconcile with finance teams who support the desk
Prepare materials for internal meetings and approvals
Assist in the preparation/completion of investor requests
Monitor warehouse exposure
Liaise with Middle Office, Finance, and Technology teams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of strong analytical, quantitative and written and oral communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
Must have strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills
High proficiency in coding/VBA/programming skills
