Job Description
About the role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to assist our rapidly growing customer base. As part of our technical support team, you will be the primary point of contact for all technical issues. Youll fit right in with us if you have a passion for unraveling complex issues and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. If youre looking to work in an open, collaborative environment side-by-side with our development engineers to resolve customer issues and shape future product design, we cant wait to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and research customer issues.
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e. g. software developers)
- Ensure all issues are properly logged.
- Become a product expert for stakeholders and stay up-to-date on new features in Joveo.
- Identify and write internal and external technical articles or knowledge-base entries, like typical troubleshooting steps, workarounds, or best practices.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working with users/developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues for backend infrastructure applications (e.g. databases).
- BE/B. Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in software and/or a technologically relevant field.
- Experience in writing code in any scripting language such as Bash and Python. (not mandatory)
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Excellent analytical skills, and a passion for pinning down technical issues, and solving problems.
- Enjoys a fast-paced startup environment.
- Should be willing to work in night shift/ US work timings.
