Subject Matter Expert - Hindi & English

Primary Responsibilities

• Listen to short audio clips in the designated language.
• Accurately transcribe spoken content into text, adhering to Josh Talks transcription standards.
• Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting. Review and refine transcriptions for clarity and precision.
• Adhere to deadlines and ensure high-quality submissions.
• Flag unclear or incomplete audios for review.

Qualifications:

• Degree (BA, MA, PhD) or pursuing journalism in the specific language OR Expert proficiency in the designated language, with exceptional listening, speaking and writing skills.
• Experience in transcription, linguistic review, or related fields is preferred.
• Tech-savvy with experience using transcription software and tools. Should have their own laptop.
• Ability to type quickly and accurately and a commitment to producing error-free work.
• Familiarity with transcription software or willingness to learn.
