Analyst - Data & Analytics (ETL)

Position Summary:

The Data Analytics ETL Developer at JCI will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support data integration efforts across various business units. This role is integral to ensuring data accuracy, quality, and availability for analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in data warehousing, ETL methodologies, and a strong analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ETL processes to move and transform data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through automated data validation and cleansing processes.
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to define data requirements and optimize data flows.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
• Document ETL processes, data transformations, and data mappings for reference and compliance.
• Stay current with ETL best practices and emerging technologies to improve data processing efficiency.
• Provide support and training to team members and stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in ETL development using tools such as SSIS, Talend, or Informatica.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
