Job Profile : IOT (AWS) Tech Lead

Location : Kadi, Ahmedabad

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Responsible for the requirement analysis, solution design, traditional system cloud migration, and data cloud migration design of cloud service solutions.

- Work closely with the global teams to complete the implementation and delivery of IoT projects, and regularly synchronize the progress with architect's / leaders.

- Develop AWS architecture design solutions based on the needs, work with leads / managers to develop a reasonable pricing plan.

- Design an operation and maintenance plan based on AWS cloud platform and support the daily operation and maintenance work.

- Closely work with diverse team of developers, stake holders and vendors across locations.

- Guide and collaborate with vendor support teams for deploying & configuring IoT based solutions

- Build and adopt best development practices in Agile/ scrum IOT team

- Implement DevOps practices, perform code reviews and guide development teams

- Technically handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Help developers, test team and support personnel for troubleshooting customer issues.

- Build proof of concepts and demonstrate technology feasibility of Innovative solutions.

- Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications.

- Participate in design and code reviews/inspections.

- Provide input to technical discussions; propose solutions and alternatives.

- Stong in problem solving, Analyzing, troubleshooting approaches.

- Writing and executing unit tests.

- Developing proof-of-concept; Providing work estimates

- Provide required support to product teams as needed to determine system problems and fix.

EXPERIENCE : 9 to 11+ years

- Minimum 5-6 Years of experience in the field of Application Development (Java or any other platform) is required.

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with AWS environment, AWS based Architecture design,

- Microservices / SOA architecture design.

SKILLS :

Required :

- At least 4-5 years of industry experience in the AWS platform.

- Proficient in VPC, IoT core, Serverless development, EC2, and database service components, -with experience in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting AWS cloud platform environments

- Experienced in Cloud computing, Hybrid cloud planning, architecture, migration, security and other work and solutions.

- Should have knowledge of AWS services and coding best practices.

- Good team spirit and communication skills, good English reading, writing and speaking skills.

- Should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong knowledge of Agile and scrum process.

- Hands-on experience on Application development tools, Code review and build process

- Experience in design patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Should be able to guide team, review and drive independently.

- Should have worked on DEVOPS, CICD tools like Jenkins, Understand CI/CD, capable of architecture and deployment on AWS.

- Should have strong knowledge of containers, dockers & AWS software configuration & deployments.

- Knowledge of software development life cycle.

- Use of UML, sequence diagrams

- Code repository like GITHUB usage experience

- Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Experience of working with globally distributed teams.

Good To Have :

- AWS Solution Architect Professional certification is preferred.

- Understand automated deployment tools, CloudFormation/Terraform, Ansible, etc;

EDUCATION BACKGROUND :

- Should have done B.E or B. Tech from reputed college or university

What you will do :

- This position will focus on new feature/component development and maintenance and stewardship of existing CLOUD application software.

- This position requires the ability to work independently and also under guidance with Principle / Enterprise Architects while designing and developing robust system solutions that meet defined system requirements.

- Should be able to perform in an individual contributor role and must be willing to remain technical and hands-on long term
