AWS DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (8-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and more.

- Architect scalable and secure cloud environments following best practices for cost optimization, performance, and security in AWS.

- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.

CI/CD Automation :

- Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.

- Enable automated deployments and ensure continuous integration and delivery for cloud applications.

- Automate release management and configuration management tasks.

Monitoring, Logging, and Security :

- Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery of applications hosted on AWS using best practices.

- Implement security best practices to protect cloud-based infrastructure, including configuring IAM roles, security groups, and VPC security.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements and provide support for development, testing, and production environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and ensure the smooth operation of production environments.

- Assist in the optimization and scaling of applications to handle increased demand and support business growth.

Automation & Optimization :

- Automate manual processes related to infrastructure provisioning, patching, deployment, and scaling.

- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency while maintaining performance and availability.

- Implement and manage containerization solutions with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing :

- Maintain and update documentation for deployed systems, automation scripts, and infrastructure configurations.

- Share knowledge and best practices with the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of DevOps processes and tools.
