Data Engineer - Azure Data Services (8-12 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services.

- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes in Azure.

- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.

- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance best practices.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and pipelines to ensure reliability.-

- Document technical specifications and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Azure technologies and trends.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of Azure services including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling concepts.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala is a plus.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is desirable.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security practices.

- Experience with machine learning concepts and tools is a bonus.

- Relevant certifications in Azure Data Engineering (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) are preferred.
