Technical Lead - Python (7-15 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python.

Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions on the AWS Cloud platform.

Solve complex algorithmic problems with efficiency and precision.

Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud computing and software development.

Must-Have Skills :

Expert proficiency in Python programming with a deep understanding of design patterns and best practices.

Strong experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, EC2, API Gateway, and more.

Proven ability to solve complex problems and ace technical tests (e.g., HackerRank).

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Primary Skill :

- Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications

- Proficiency in building dynamic and static reports using Python

- Strong understanding of building RESTful APIs with Python

- Familiarity with Python code/design practices and best practices Cloud and Infrastructure

- Exposure to AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect)

- Experience with Snowflake and relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres

- Familiarity with working on both Linux and Windows environments

- Understanding of distributed systems and their challenges DevOps and CI/CD

- Experience with GitLab/GitHub and understanding of CI/CD best practices

- Proficiency in building and managing deployment pipelines

Communication and Collaboration :

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with onsite clients

- Experience in working with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly desirable

- Ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams

Education :

- Bachelor's degree or master's in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification

- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in asset management

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
