Job Description
Purpose of the Job
This position exists to oversee & direct the activities related to Quality Assurance with the objective of monitoring & improving the Quality & System established within the organization to achieve Customer Satisfaction, Improved Quality, Reduction in Wastes, Comply to Legal Obligations & expectations and bring consistency to significant quantum through continuous improvement in the organization and monitoring the effectiveness in long term to support the overall strategy of the organization.
Details of Responsibilities
- Strategy and Development - Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice as per vision, strategy, policies, products, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
- Strategy and Development - Drive Continuous Improvement programs & projects and review and communicate the impact on QCD factors.
- Monitoring of compliance to customer specific requirements, customer audits observations, etc.
- Monitoring of Product audits & Process audit to meet organizational goal
- Monitoring of Layout including Product Performance as specified by Customer.
- Monitoring of calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment.
- Enhance application of SPC & MSA in manufacturing & measurement process to reduce variation.
- Support to handle customer's observation (complaints & feedback).
- Change management of processes in entire supply chain.
- Monitoring of product / process deviation and act accordingly.
- Provide inputs during new developments of products, processes.
- Defining and establishing integrated management system requirements
- Identification of processes related to integrated management system (IMS)
- Manage the implementation of Departmental EHS programs and objectives.
- Ensure compliance to EHS legislation in related area.
- Develop and implement framework for EHS to manage area specific hazards and Risks.
To guide for Risk Analysis of all routine/ non-routine departmental activities to prepare HIRA as per ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) & AIA as per ISO 14001 (Environment Management System) and review timely.
- Timely execution of EHS audits/Inspection of plants to find unsafe conditions/ acts and initiate necessary actions to close the observations/ Departmental Safety committee.
- Ensure appropriate trainings related to EHS & Job competencies.
- Fulfilment of Plant objectives and targets
- EHS accident/incidents in the plant/department and safety violations.
- Compliance of HSE legislations in the plant.
- Monitoring Closure effectiveness of EHS Non-Compliance(s)
- Identifying training needs on IMS requirements and arranging the same
- Internal communication related to IMS activities
- Ensure all documentation is in line with Customer, QMS, EHS requirements & timely update document as per changes in Customers, QMS & EHS requirements.
