What this job involves:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive MIS Executive to join our Facility Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems that support and enhance our facility management operations. This role requires a unique blend of IT expertise and understanding of facility management processes to ensure seamless integration of technology in our day-to-day operations, data-driven decision making, and improved operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement MIS strategies aligned with facility management goals and objectives. Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of facility management information systems, including CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. Ensure the integrity, security, and reliability of facility-related data and information systems. Collaborate with facility managers and other stakeholders to identify information needs and develop appropriate solutions. Design and implement dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights into facility performance metrics. Manage the integration of various facility management systems, including BMS (Building Management Systems), access control, and energy management systems. Develop and maintain databases for asset management, maintenance schedules, and space utilization. Provide training and support to facility management staff on the use of MIS tools and systems. Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement in facility management operations. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies regarding information security. Coordinate with IT department to ensure alignment of facility management systems with overall IT infrastructure. Manage vendor relationships for facility management software and related IT services. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in facility management IT solutions. Develop and manage the budget for facility management IT projects and systems. Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance and impact of facility management information systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. An additional degree or certification in Facility Management is a plus. 5+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 3 years of experience in facility management or related field. Strong knowledge of facility management software, including CAFM and CMMS systems. Experience with database management, data analysis, and reporting tools. Familiarity with BMS, IoT technologies, and their application in smart buildings. Understanding of facility management processes and best practices. Experience in project management, particularly in IT implementation projects. Knowledge of data security and protection regulations.
