What this job involves:

Meeting business needs to a tee

  • Structuring financial transactions for raising capital through debt and equity for Real estate developers
  • Management of developer and investor relationships across the region (North India), regular interactions with key stakeholders such as Promoters, CFOs, CEOs, Finance Heads, VPs, CIOs of Developers and Funds, NBFCs and other Financial institutions
  • End to end management of debt transaction for developers, with complete advisory on multiple financing products and opportunities available, to assist in decision making process
  • Aggressive business development to ensure larger reach and presence in the Developer and Investor markets
  • Deal sourcing, development, marketing and closure with complete negotiation and documentation support on transactions
  • Advising clients on multiple asset classes such as Office, Retail, Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, etc.
  • Work along with the team to execute annual operating plan for the business with focus on EBITDA
  • Provide guidance in development of relevant collaterals, Information memorandums, ensure completion and then take to market
  • Attend relevant networking events, conferences for Business development and information sharing

Unlocking business opportunities

10-13 years of experience of Real estate Capital markets / Real estate Corporate Finance / Real estate Investment advisory, with last 3-4 years preferably with an IPC or with a Real estate investment brokerage firm or with Transaction Advisory business of a Big4 accounting firm

  • Proficiency in structured finance and must have undertaken a mix of debt / equity transactions in real estate products
  • Strong knowledge of multiple investment products and instruments - NCD, CCD, Certificates, Bonds, etc.
  • Should be able to develop and evaluate Financial models relevant to varied real estate projects
  • Good relationship with Financial institutions and must have a record of dealing with Banks, NBFCs, PE investors, HNIs, etc.
  • Knowledge of multiple real estate products and categories, such as Residential, Office, Industrial, Retail and Hospitality and relevant regulatory frameworks and practices
  • Awareness of relevant documentation pertaining to debt provision, viz. Term sheets, loan documents, property ownership papers, etc.
  • Experience on M&A, IPO, CMBS et al. will be given preference
  • Self-motivated with strong decision making and logical capabilities, must be an avid learner willing to take new risks and learn new products quickly and take to market
  • Good business acumen, networking, persuasion, negotiation and presentation skills shall be mandatory requirements for the role

A seasoned expert

An ideal candidate will have :

  • 10-13 years of experience of Real estate Capital markets / Real estate Corporate Finance / Real estate Investment advisory, with last 3-4 years preferably with an IPC or with a Real estate investment brokerage firm or with Transaction Advisory business of a Big4 accounting firm
  • MBA / PGDBM / PGDM or equivalent degree / diploma from a reputed Institute or CA / CFA (Level 3 CFA candidates can also apply)
  • Graduation degree should ideally be in Finance, Business studies, Economics or Engineering
