Instrumentation Head Cement Project (Greenfield Project)

Location: Raigarh CG Department: Electrical & Instrumentation

Role & responsibilities

1. Person will be responsible for day to day Planning, co-ordination and execution of site project activities in Cement Plant Project

1.1 Knowledge of P&ID, PFD,DCS, PLC, SCADA, EMS, Diagrams & all major field instrumentation.

1.2 Knowledge of planning and usage of SAP

1.3 Knowledge of Statutory requirements and International standards & codes related to C&I

1.4 Handling of contractors/business partners i.e. contract management skills

2. Responsible for plant Instrumentation systems for industrial applications and maintain these systems using recognized industry standards and specifications.

3. Responsible in maintaining control Systems, Calibration, Measurement & Interpretation, Operations, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Coordinate with vendors for getting as-built drawings.

4. Co-ordination with project HO team for smooth execution of the project including changes in priorities based on site conditions

5. Maintenance & Installation of Field Instruments.

6. Troubleshooting of Control loops of weight , Flow, Temperature, Level, Pressure, Vibration, Function Groups, Alarm & Interlock systems

7. Review and check all assigned project Instrumentation installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (P&I diagrams, Instrumentation equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.)

8. Should have good experience in identify and maintain the spares.

9. Site supervision and execution of the Instrumentation equipment and installations.

10. Hands on experience on PLC-SCADA, DCS system trouble shooting, software development.

11. Exposure to CCTV/Fire detection system installation and trouble shooting.

12. Periodic reports to be shared with all the stakeholders.

13. List out the challenges, dependencies, assumptions and timelines required for the project.

15. Material Management Inspection and Record of all the received materials and issued material on day to day basis. Material checking, Storage, PR preparation and issue pass preparation in SAP.
