Structural Engineer - Civil

Major Deliverable / Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design: Develop and design structural components for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Material Selection: Recommend appropriate construction materials based on project specifications and environmental conditions.
• Analysis and Calculations: Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure stability, strength, and rigidity of structures. Use software tools like AutoCAD, STAADPRO, ETABS, and others for modeling and analysis.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, reports, and other documentation required for project approval and construction.
• Inspection and Evaluation: Conduct site inspections to evaluate the conditions of existing structures and recommend necessary repairs or reinforcements
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project development and implementation
• Compliance: Ensure all designs and construction comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during the design and construction phases, proposing effective solutions to maintain project integrity.
• Project Management: Oversee and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
