Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer to design, implement, and maintain custom Odoo ERP solutions that meet the diverse needs of our clients.

In this role, you will work across various Odoo modules, including Accounting, Invoicing, Expenses, Inventory, Purchase, and Sales.

You will play a key role in customizing and integrating these modules, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting system audits, and providing user support to ensure clients maximize the use of the Odoo ERP system.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Development : Design, develop, and implement Odoo-based solutions for clients, ensuring they meet business requirements and optimize business processes.

- Module Implementation : Work across key Odoo modules, including Accounting, Invoicing, Expenses, Inventory, Purchase, and Sales, to design and customize solutions that align with client-specific workflows.

- Custom Module Development : Develop custom modules, enhance existing functionality, and create new features that extend Odoo's capabilities according to client requirements.

- Module Customization : Customize existing Odoo modules to meet unique business requirements, ensuring smooth integration with other systems or third-party tools.

- Seamless Integration : Integrate Odoo with other enterprise systems (e.g, CRM, accounting software, eCommerce platforms) to streamline processes and enhance the user experience.

- Automation and Optimization : Design and implement automated workflows and processes within Odoo to improve operational efficiency for clients.

- Client Interaction : Collaborate directly with clients to gather business requirements, understand pain points, and propose Odoo-based solutions that address their needs.

- Internal Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (business analysts, project managers, QA, and support teams) to ensure successful project delivery and post-implementation support.

- Implementation Strategies : Assist in planning and developing implementation strategies, including timelines, milestones, and deployment processes.

- Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and debug Odoo-related technical issues (e.g, performance, bugs, integrations) and ensure timely resolutions to maintain system reliability and performance.

- Maintenance & Upgrades : Regularly monitor system performance, perform audits, and apply updates and patches to ensure that Odoo solutions remain efficient and secure.

- System Audits : Conduct routine system audits to identify areas for optimization and ensure Odoo systems are running smoothly and securely.

- Upgrades & Updates : Implement system upgrades, ensuring compatibility with the latest Odoo versions and patches. Ensure that new features are integrated without disrupting existing functionality.

- Training : Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to effectively utilize Odoo modules, ensuring they understand the functionalities and can operate the system independently.

- Ongoing Support : Offer post-implementation support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, helping them resolve any issues or challenges they face with the system.

Technical Skills and Qualifications :

Core Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, especially in the context of Odoo development (writing business logic, automation, etc.

- Proficiency in JavaScript for front-end development and enhancing Odoo views, forms, and user interfaces.

- Expertise in using XML for customizing Odoo views and reports, as well as modifying the interface of Odoo modules.

- Solid knowledge of SQL for working with databases, creating queries, optimizing database performance, and handling data migrations.

- In-depth experience with the Odoo framework, including understanding its architecture, ORM, and development principles.

- Hands-on experience developing custom Odoo modules and creating unique business functionalities in alignment with client needs.

Experience :

- 3-5 years of experience working with Odoo as a developer, with a focus on the backend and customization of Odoo ERP solutions.

- Familiarity with multiple versions of Odoo, including recent versions (e.g, Odoo 14, Odoo 15), and an understanding of their features, improvements, and best practices.

- A strong understanding of business processes and the capabilities of ERP systems, specifically within Accounting, Sales, Inventory, and Purchase modules.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Experience using version control tools such as Git to manage code and collaborate with other developers.
