Opening For Night MOD

Role & responsibilities

1. The Manager on duty shall supervise and manage hospital operations in day duty on Sundays/
Holidays and every night.

2. The MOD shall take briefing from previous MOD/ Operations team along with all supervisors
on duty- Housekeeping, Nursing and Security. MOD hand over/take over register shall be
maintained at security office for this purpose. It shall include all issues during the duty.

3. The MOD shall take detailed rounds of the following areas of the hospital along with the
Supervisors on duty:

• OPDs & Waiting Areas
• Diagnostic Services
• Laboratory & Blood Bank
• Radiology (CT Scan/USG/MRI/X-ray)
• Accident & Emergency, Ambulance Services
• Admission Desk, Billing, OP & IP Pharmacy, MRD
• All ICUs, Cath Lab & Operation Theatre
• Ward Nursing Stations
• Doctors Hostel, Engineering, Laundry, DNB Library, F&B and all Exit gates of Hospital.
• Terrace Air-conditioning plant

4. During the duty hours, the MOD shall supervise and attend all operations related calls and
queries.

5. The MOD shall escalate the incidents to the appropriate heads responsible, i.e. Operations,
Medical / Clinical Services, Nursing Services, Billing etc. for MLC Patients, LAMA (Leave
Against Medical Advice), Expired Patient, Brought Dead Patients, Absconding Patients,
Violence, Morgue Room, Billing, Equipment/ HMS downtime, Non availability of beds,
Emergency Codes, Incidence etc.

6. The MOD shall prepare the report in the defined format and shall send the same to MOD -
Report and copy to Departmental HOD after his / her duty. Any matter requiring further action
shall be escalated accordingly by GM Operations.

7. Handover shall be given to the next MOD (in case of Sunday or Holidays) / Operations team (in
case of working days) regarding the pending issues needing action/attention during the next
shift.

3. Should demonstrate patience and confidence when dealing with customer enquiries and
complaints

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications:

UG: Any University Graduate

PG: MHA / MBA (HHM) Preferred
