Jeavio - Senior Product Owner (5-7 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Owner to join our team and play a pivotal role in building an innovative platform for a digital health company.

As a Senior Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, define product roadmaps, and ensure the delivery of high-quality features that align with business objectives.

Your primary focus will be on leading product development, defining priorities, and ensuring that user stories, epics, and features are delivered efficiently within the Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Backlog Management :

- Collaborate with the Product Management team to define and groom the product backlog.

- Ensure that user stories, themes, and epics are clearly documented with acceptance criteria that align with business goals.

- Continuously prioritize the backlog based on stakeholder feedback, market changes, and evolving business needs.

Sprint Planning and Prioritization :

- Work with cross-functional teams to prepare, plan, and prioritize at least two sprints ahead, ensuring that each sprint is focused on delivering the most valuable and impactful features.

- Document acceptance criteria, define the scope, and identify any impacted scenarios, dependencies, and UI/UX requirements before each sprint.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Lead product planning and execution across different teams, including engineering, design, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth product releases.

- Ensure alignment with stakeholders (including marketing, operations, and customer support) to meet the product's objectives and deliverables.

Quality Assurance and Deliverables :

- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle.

- Be responsible for ensuring that features meet the defined requirements and pass the established quality criteria.

- Regularly conduct reviews and refine the product backlog to ensure it aligns with customer needs and business priorities.

Effective Communication :

- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ensure that product requirements and expectations are clearly understood.

- Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including user stories, roadmaps, release plans, and sprint goals.

Product Focus and Execution :

- Drive product discovery and definition by identifying opportunities, gathering customer feedback, and working with stakeholders to build a clear product roadmap.

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and track progress toward business objectives.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies, bringing forward insights and innovations to improve the product.

- Use feedback loops from customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to continuously improve product features and functionality.

Team Collaboration and Leadership :

- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring that each team's needs and capabilities are considered when setting priorities.

- Foster a collaborative environment by facilitating regular meetings such as sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.

Key Qualifications and Experience :

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner working within Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.

- Strong experience in product lifecycle management, from product discovery and definition to release and iteration.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams to define and deliver products that meet customer needs and business goals.

- Expertise in data-driven decision-making, analyzing data and key metrics to guide product strategy and refine the product roadmap.

Technical Skills :

- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello.

- Familiarity with UI/UX design tools like Figma, Miro, and Sketch for product prototyping and wireframing.

- Understanding of modern web technologies and platforms (e.g, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Node.js), or prior experience as a developer is a plus.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Product Management Expertise :

- Strong understanding of product strategy and roadmap creation aligned with business objectives and customer needs.

- Ability to create and prioritize user stories, themes, and epics, and manage them within Agile methodologies.

- Expertise in managing product backlogs and ensuring they are properly aligned with company priorities and stakeholder needs.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills :

- Experience analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that contribute to product decisions.

- Proficiency in A/B testing, user feedback analysis, and market research to drive product iterations and improvements.

- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and provide clear solutions.

Collaboration and Leadership Skills :

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate product requirements, concepts, and strategies to a wide range of audiences.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering an environment of collaboration, trust, and open communication.

Additional Skills and Experience That Add Value :

- Knowledge of compliance regulations such as HIPAA or GDPR and their impact on product design and data management.

- Understanding of mobile application development and responsive design principles.

- Prior experience in customer journey mapping or user experience research to ensure the product meets user needs and expectations.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
