Site Engineer

Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain small-scale through to large-scale

construction projects in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner

• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and

other)

• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy

technical specifications

• Assess potential risks, materials, and costs
• Provide advice and creatively resolve any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports on project status
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc, and deliver

technical files and other technical documentation as required

Skills

• Proven working experience in civil engineering
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D

or similar

• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals

etc

• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• License of professional engineer
• BE/ B Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental laws, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of project schedules, budgets, and quality control metrics.
• Conduct site inspections to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
• Oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering or related field (construction management).
• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems for managing construction projects.
• Proficiency in building construction methods, civil engineering principles, and site engineering practices.
