Role & responsibilities

Analysis of customer equiry

1. Study the Drawings & Caddata

2. Ensure the compliance of requirement in details

Feasiblity Check

1. Study the parts with the stds. Demanded in drawings.

2. Study the parts with technical know how.

Process Determination

1. Study the part with technical knowledge.

2. Determines the processes involved to manufacture the products

3. Determines the time frame/time plans involved for the development.

Development of Part

1. Determination of vendors by analyzing their techincal knowhow (Capacity/Capability) for the parts & Assys.

2. Floating fo RFQs with relevant requirements.

ECN Implementation

1. During development, if some engg. Changes come, again fesibility check to impletment in Existing processes.

2. Study the techno commercial impact of the changes.

3. Implementation of changes with discussions with vendors.

Buyoff Activities

1. Visit to supplier with manufacturing & Quality team.

2. Checking the tooling for manufacturing defects if any.

3. Preparedness of documentations required from vendor

4. Conducting the tryouts at vendor end

5. Checking the end products for quality requrirements.

6. For any non conformity, actions plans from vendors

7. Taking PTR

Handover information to PPC Dept.

1. Provide necessary informations to PPC dept. with all technical inputs.

2. Taking care of intial issues of productions if any

3. Smoothening the production level

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering

10-11 years of experience in fileld of Auto / Auto component Industries for Asst/Dy Manager

2-5 years of experience in fileld of Auto / Auto component Industries for Executive.

Knowledge on sheet metal processes ( Stamping, welding & Surface treatement)
