Role Overview:

The Senior IT Infrastructure Head will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of all IT infrastructure and systems supporting Jaro Education's technological needs. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT infrastructure management, cloud services, networking, data security, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver seamless IT operations. You will ensure the organization's infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient to meet both current and future needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- IT Strategy & Planning: Lead the development and execution of the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with Jaro Education's business goals. Define and prioritize IT infrastructure requirements based on the organization's needs.

- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of servers, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals. Ensure continuous training and development to improve team performance.

- System Integration: Manage the integration of various IT systems, including CRM, ERP, and Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring smooth operation and data integrity.

- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure robust IT security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems. Stay updated on cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

- Cloud & Virtualization: Oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions that meet the growing demands of the business.

- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Ensure regular testing and updates of these plans to safeguard business operations.

- Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective contracts and agreements. Manage the IT infrastructure budget effectively.

- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Implement performance monitoring tools to track system health, uptime, and performance. Provide regular reports to senior management on infrastructure performance and issues.

- Innovation & Technology Adoption: Evaluate emerging technologies and propose solutions that enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).

- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3-4 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of network architectures, data centers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

- Expertise in enterprise-level IT security practices, including firewalls, encryption, and vulnerability management.

- Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and business continuity.

- Experience with managing and scaling large, complex IT infrastructures to meet growing demands.

- Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

- Experience with monitoring and automation tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Ansible, Terraform).

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges.

Preferred Skills:

- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Knowledge of ITIL framework for service management.

- Familiarity with data analytics platforms and tools.
