Job Description
- Product Strategy & Development:
- Develop and implement the product strategy for Group Loans, Agri Loans, and Individual Loans through the Business Correspondent (BC) channel, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic goals.
- Define the product roadmap for each loan category, prioritizing enhancements and new features to improve the BC channel's effectiveness and reach.
- Collaborate with the BC network to understand customer needs and pain points, tailoring solutions for each loan category.
- Business Correspondent Channel Management:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of products through the BC channel, from design and pilot launch to scale-up and continuous optimization.
- Define clear business requirements, working closely with IT and operations teams to integrate solutions and drive product performance for all loan types.
- Work with business correspondents to ensure smooth product delivery, training, and adherence to operational and compliance standards across all loan categories.
- Process Optimization & Compliance:
- Ensure that Loans offered through the BC channel are fully compliant with regulatory and internal bank policies.
- Oversee the implementation of efficient processes and workflows for loan origination, disbursement, repayment, and monitoring for all loan types within the BC channel.
- Monitor and improve the operational efficiency of the BC channel, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions for better service delivery.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business correspondents, acting as the main point of contact for product-related queries, support, and escalation.
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, risk, legal, and IT to ensure smooth and efficient product development, launch, and management for all loan categories.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on product performance, challenges, and opportunities within the BC channel for Group Loans, Agri Loans, and Individual Loans.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of Group Loans, Agri Loans, and Individual Loans delivered through the BC channel.
- Conduct regular reviews of product performance for each loan type, identifying areas for improvement and driving corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on product performance, customer feedback, and market trends for senior management.
- Market & Industry Awareness:
- Stay informed about trends in microfinance, agricultural finance, and retail banking, along with regulatory changes and customer needs, to anticipate market shifts and adjust the product strategy accordingly.
- Regularly assess competitor offerings and industry best practices to ensure the BC channel remains competitive and aligned with evolving customer needs.
- Product Testing & Launch:
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and provide an overview of Global Solution Design (GSDs) for product enhancements and new launches across all loan categories.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product features or enhancements before they are rolled out to the BC channel.
- Coordinate pilot launches of new products or features and scale up following successful testing and feedback.
