Product Manager - Group Loan

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap:
• Develop and implement the product strategy for Group Loans in line with the banks overall objectives.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features, enhancements, and updates based on market needs and business impact.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in Group Loan offerings.
• Product Development & Management:
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, and launch.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and provide an overview of Functional specification Document (FSDs).
• Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure the product meets all defined requirements before launch.
• Manage the pilot launch and final launch of the product, ensuring smooth implementation.
• Work closely with the IT team on new product enhancements and track the timeliness of any change requests raised.
• Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with the sales, relationship managers, and customer service teams to understand customer needs and pain points.
• Act as the voice of the customer to ensure the product delivers value and meets customer expectations.
• Provide training and product knowledge support to internal teams.
• Risk & Compliance:
• Ensure that Group Loan products are compliant with all regulatory and internal policies, with a focus on financial inclusion and lending guidelines.
• Work with the risk and legal teams to assess product risk, compliance, and regulatory implications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, technology, risk, and finance teams to launch and maintain Group Loan products.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as partners, service providers, and regulators as required.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting:
• Monitor key performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present product performance reports to senior management, providing actionable insights for product optimization.
• Market & Industry Awareness:
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs to anticipate market shifts and adjust product strategy accordingly.
