Senior Engineer - Sales & Marketing

Key Responsibilities:

Product Knowledge

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of DG sets and their technical specifications.
• Stay updated on Solar Roof Top solutions to effectively promote and sell the products.

Market and Competition Analysis

• Conduct regular market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
• Analyze competitors offerings and strategies to position Jakson Distributed Energy effectively.

Business Prospecting and Market Share Growth

• Identify new business opportunities for DG sets and Solar Roof Top solutions.
• Develop strategies to increase market share and penetrate untapped markets.

Target Achievement

• Achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals in terms of both sales numbers and revenue.
• Track and report sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Reporting and Forecasting

• Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and market reports.
• Provide insights on market dynamics to aid in strategic decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in DG sets and Solar Roof Top solutions.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• MBA in Marketing would be an added advantage.

Key Skills

• Strong product and technical knowledge of DG sets and Solar solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
