JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ASSISTANT MANAGER (MAINTENANCE) ENGINEERING

Reporting Manager: Managing Director

Purpose of the position: To provide leadership, guide and direct engineering staff to carry out their task efficiently, ensuring minimum breakdown hours. Counsel management on all maintenance related matters. The person in this position is required to ensure all compliances with respect to Statutory and Regulatory norms.
Job Responsibilities:

1. To monitor & lead the engineering team in resolving the jobs.
2. To supervise & handle the projects are going related to engineering dept.
3. To supervise & decide the duty schedule of workers & staff of engineering dept.
4. To monitor & ensure the availability of utility machines as per the production schedule/plans.
5. To monitor & ensure the smooth working of utilities covered under maintenance dept.
6. To monitor and ensure the effective working of engineering team and systems.
7. To supervise & ensure the following of the company norms in the engineering dept.
8. To monitor HT connections reading taken on daily basis & check power failure to ensure the power saving in the plant.
9. To supervise & lead the engineering dept. in every audits & regulatory visits.
10. To monitor & manage the availability of spares/consumables to be used in machines.
