Banquet Manager

Overview:
The Banquets Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all banquet events in the hotel. This includes ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing banquet operations, and maintaining high standards of service quality while maximizing revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Coordination:
   
• Collaborate with clients to understand event requirements and preferences.
• Plan and organize all aspects of banquet events, including menu selection, seating arrangements, and AV requirements.
2. Operational Management:
   
• Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
• Ensure timely and efficient service delivery during events.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
3. Team Leadership:
   
• Train, schedule, and manage banquet staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
4. Guest Relations:
   
• Address client and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering personalized service.
5. Financial Management:
   
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize banquet revenue.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to banquet operations.
6. Compliance and Standards:
   
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain compliance with hotel policies and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in banquet operations or event management in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in event management software and basic financial analysis.

Work Environment:
This role requires flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
