Engineer - Procurement (For Delhi)

Education Qualification:

B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil)

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for Local Projects Procurement after all necessary approvals
• Prepare annual procurement plan and budget by coordination with Procurement Head & Project Manager
• Track and monitor status of open PR and PO
• Monitor & process the PRS / indents raised from sites on daily basis
• Ensure approvals of the approving authority as per DOA (both in PR & PI) before release of PO to vendor
• Ensure all local purchases are accounted in ERP (i.e, all PI are closed by PO)
• Conduct vendor empanelment of local vendors / manufacturers on continuous basis
• Maintain vendor database for J Kumar prospective vendors - for new vendors (ERP)
• Conduct local procurement process for the assigned PRs as per the timelines defined in SOP and material wise lead time sheet
• Prepare & share purchase order (PO) with respective vendor. PO number to be mentioned in the invoice/bill.
• Ensure maintainance of Local MCS (Master Control Sheet) for PR processed: highlighting PR, PO, material delivered / pending and payment status
• Coordinate with vendor for timely delivery of material and services
• Resolve commercial queries of vendors
• Coordinate and follow up for vendor payment and advance if any to Accounts Department subject to DOA
• Coordinate and follow up HO Account for vendor payment
• Conduct performance evaluation of all eligible vendors
• Prepare and submit MIS to HO Procurement Team
• To guide team members in daily procurement and any necessary troubleshooting wrt bills / material / vendor negotiation
