Node.js Developer (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs using Node.js.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end services.

- Implement and maintain database schemas and queries (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Node.js and related technologies.

- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.

- Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.

- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Strong understanding of software development best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Bonus Skills :

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
