Assistant Vice President & Chief Application Project Manager (10-12 yrs)

About the Job :

- We are seeking an experienced and visionary AVP & Chief Application Project Manager with a strong background in the general insurance industry.

- This role is ideal for professionals who excel in project management, technical development, and stakeholder engagement while leading high-impact projects within a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Microsoft-based applications using . NET, C#, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, and related technologies.

- Manage large-scale projects with budgets exceeding - 5 Cr, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

- Utilize advanced project management tools like JIRA, RALLY, Microsoft Project Plan, and TFS/VSTS for effective tracking and execution.

- Collaborate with CXO-level stakeholders and vendors to align project goals with business objectives.

- Plan for potential crises, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies.

- Spearhead SharePoint (2016/2020) development, including custom workflows, and enforce best practices.

- Drive cross-functional teams in GC methodologies, Iterative Development, and Agile frameworks.

- Enhance system capabilities by integrating cutting-edge technologies in Java, .NET, APIs, SAP, Mobility, BI, CRM, Core Insurance Systems, and more.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

Experience :

- 10+ years in the insurance industry with leadership in GC/HB development; 7+ years in project management.

Technical Expertise :

- Advanced knowledge of .NET frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), SharePoint, and mobility solutions.

Certifications :

- CSM certification is highly valued; cloud certification (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

Methodologies :

- Skilled in GC methodologies, Iterative Development, and Agile frameworks.

Project Management :

- Proven expertise in stakeholder management, budget handling, and risk planning for large-scale projects.

Tech Stack :

- Proficiency in at least five technologies, including Java, APIs, SQL Servers, CRM, Data Analytics, and BI tools.

Leadership :

- Strong team leadership and vendor management skills
