IValue - Kafka Administrator - Configuration Management (3-6 yrs)

Title : Kafka Administrator.

Experience : 3-6 Yrs.

Location : Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and optimize Kafka Brokers for high availability and performance.

- Manage Zookeeper instances to ensure proper coordination and configuration of Kafka clusters.

- Implement and maintain HA setups to ensure uninterrupted service and reliability.

- Monitor and configure the replication factor to enhance data durability and fault tolerance.

- Develop and implement effective partitioning strategies to optimize data distribution and access.

- Provide support for any production-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution.

- Perform regular maintenance tasks and apply patch releases to keep the system secure and up-to-date.

- Ensure timely security updates and manage compliance with SCD points and regulatory requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and reliability issues to maintain optimal system performance.

- Provide expert consultation for new configurations and enhancements to the Kafka environment.

Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud-based Kafka deployments (e. , AWS MSK, Confluent Cloud).

- Proven experience with Kafka Broker and Zookeeper management.

- Strong understanding of high availability setups, replication factors, and partitioning strategies.

- Experience in troubleshooting performance and reliability issues in production environments.

- Familiarity with maintenance tasks, including patch releases and security updates.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide effective solutions.
