Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to fill the position of Associate Manager Revenue Management. As the Assistant Manager- Revenue Management, you will play a crucial role in optimizing hotel revenue through strategic pricing, inventory management, and data analysis. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure revenue goals are met while maintaining a balance with guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Strategy: - Assist in developing and implementing revenue management strategies to maximize hotel revenue and occupancy.
2. Inventory Management: - Maintain accurate room inventory and distribution across various channels to maximize revenue potential.
3. Pricing Optimization: - Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to adjust room rates and packages accordingly.
4. Forecasting: - Work with the revenue management team to analyze historical data and market trends for accurate revenue forecasting.
5. Data Analysis: - Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
6. Technology Utilization: - Leverage revenue management tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
7. Reporting: - Generate and analyze regular reports on revenue performance, presenting findings to senior management.
8. Collaboration: - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and reservations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to revenue management.
8. Guest Satisfaction: - Balance revenue goals with guest satisfaction, ensuring pricing strategies align with the hotel's service standards.
9. Innovation and Creativity: - Encourage and implement innovative solutions and creative initiatives to enhance the revenue management process. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
10. Crisis Management and Decision-Making: - Demonstrate effective crisis management skills and make timely, informed decisions to address challenges concerning Sales. - Make well-informed decisions based on a thorough understanding of the situation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelors/ Masters degree in Finance, Business Analytics or Economics Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a passion for data analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Enthusiastic about learning and growing in the field of revenue management. Knowledge of basic hotel operations and the hospitality industry will be an added advantage
