Job Description
SAP ABAP Developer (BTP, OData, CDS, CRM, HCM)- 10 + years of experience | ITTI | Microsoft Dynamics Partner
We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer with expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), OData services, Core Data Services (CDS), Experience in SAP modules such as CRM and HCM or either of one would be an added advantage . The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to develop complex solutions, and experience integrating with SAP cloud solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement custom ABAP programs and enhancements across SAP modules, specifically CRM and HCM.
- Design, build, and optimize SAP OData services for integration between SAP systems and external applications.
- Create and manage Core Data Services (CDS) views for efficient data modelling and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate on-premises ABAP solutions with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP code, performance tuning, and enhancements.
- Participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain documentation for all developments, ensuring clarity for future maintenance and support.
- Bachelor s degree.
- 10+ years of experience in ABAP development.
- Expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), OData, and CDS.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, including integration with cloud-based services.
- Proficiency in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and Gateway services is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Certification in SAP modules or SAP BTP is an advantage.
