Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Business Manager to oversee procurement operations for our laptop brand in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, ensuring cost efficiency, and aligning procurement strategies with business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail industry, supply chain dynamics, and laptop product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives and enhance profitability.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality products, on-time deliveries, and service level agreements.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance demand and supply, reducing overstock and stockouts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance, and logistics) to align procurement plans with business goals.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Utilize data analytics and procurement tools to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Address supply chain disruptions and mitigate risks through contingency planning.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the retail or electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of laptop and consumer electronics supply chains.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Knowledge of international sourcing and logistics is a plus.
