Job Description
- Analyze and understand existing C++ codebases used in the on-premises environment.
- Refactor and optimize C++ code for improved performance and cloud-native deployment.
- Collaborate with Sr. Cloud Engineer/DevOps to understand cloud architecture and best practices for C++ applications.
- Identify and address potential compatibility issues during the migration process.
- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality after migration.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining complex C++ applications.
- In-depth knowledge of C++ language constructs, object-oriented programming principles, and memory management.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques for C++ code.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts (AWS preferred) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
