Software Product Manager- Risk Management

iRely is seeking a Product Manager to join its Commodity, Trade, and Risk Management team in Bengaluru. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days of office presence per week. For outstation candidates, relocation to Bangalore is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Software Product Management in CTRM Lead software product development within the Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) domain, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Requirement Analysis & Documentation Gather, analyze, and document business requirements by collaborating with customers, implementation teams, Product Managers, and Business Unit Leaders.
• Functional & Technical Design Extend or create functional designs based on project needs, develop technical specifications, and provide use cases, mockups, and data flow diagrams.
• Development Oversight Ensure the development team fully understands project requirements, provide effort estimates, create Statements of Work (SOWs), and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Risk Management Expertise Implement market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and compliance frameworks within CTRM solutions, ensuring robust risk management features.
• Product Quality & Performance Identify and mitigate risks affecting product performance, compliance, and security, while ensuring stable, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
• Third-Party Integrations – Manage technical integrations with third-party platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability within trading, risk, and financial modules.
• Continuous Product Improvement – Enhance usability, refine product features, and minimize support issues to improve adoption and customer success from sales to post-go-live.
• CTRM & Financial Compliance – Align product strategy with regulatory requirements, pricing strategies, and competitive trends, particularly in the U.S. and global CTRM markets.
• Team Development & Knowledge Sharing – Support technical and analytical growth of development teams by advancing their expertise in risk management, CTRM workflows, and software product best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8-12 years experience in Business Analysis and Design
• 2-4 years experience in Product Management
• Ability to communicate with internal (Developers, QAs and SMEs) and external stakeholders
• Gather, Analyze and document Business requirements, Specification, Business Processes and Recommendations
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
• Experience in Trading and Risk Management
• Experience in Manufacturing Risk Management, Trade Finance and Quality Management
• Experience in MS SQL
• Experience in managing and working with cross functional teams

Nice to have skills

• Exposure to different Asset classes like Energy, Metals, Forex and Agri soft commodities
• Experience in a programming
• Experience in ERP system development
• Knowledge/ Experience in Risk (PnL, Position and Exposure, Valuation, Credit Risk, Market Risk, VaR)
