We have an urgent opening of Mechanical Engineer for Jhagadiya Gujarat.

Education Qualification: BE-Mechanical

Job Responsibility:

Joint measurement record (JMR) for the hidden, modification, dismantling, and not visible works will be taken along with the audit member before the execution of the work. The said original JMRs will be attached with the bill and on the basis of the same the bill will be verified.

• The measurement sheets attached along with the abstract will be verified as per the works executed with respect to the drawing, Isometric sketch, JMR and on physical verifications of measurements at site.

• The abstract will be verified with respect to the quantity claimed, The rate will be certified with respect to the work executed as per the specification, quality norms if the quality norms are not maintained as per the contract the rate will be reduced or payment will be kept under hold.

• The bill will be checked along with the all quality document maintained as per the contract.

• The following quality documents will be required and checked along with RA bills for quantity claimed.

a. The consumables are verified specially for the welding rod.

b. The material test certificate of the consumables.

c. Visual inspection at site.

d. The welding to be checked with respect to the scrapping, grinding, cleaning.

e. If painting is there on piping the surface preparation and DFT will be checked.

f. Welding tests like DP test, radiography test report will be verified.

g. Hydro testing reports.

h. Checklist of various activities like painting, blasting work etc

i. Fit up and alignment report for the quantity claimed.

Note: In addition to above in the structural steel work bills, mode of measurement, IS code weight, shop drawing and actual worked executed/claimed.

Insulation

• The rate will be certified with respect to the work executed as per the specification, quality norms if the quality norms are not maintained as per the contract the rate will be reduced or payment will be kept under hold.

• The bill will be checked along with the all quality document maintained as per the contract. The following quality documents will be required/checked along with RA bills for quantity claimed.

a. Make of the material utilized at site.

b. Inspection report of material used for the density, gauge etc.,

c. Material test certificate (MTC) material used at site.

d. Checklist of the various activities carried out.

• Reconciliation of A grade material like, Nitrile rubber, GI sheet, rock-wool, clamps etc.,

For Mechanical: Structural, Piping work and Insulation:

• Periodical physical verification of stock of FOC materials along with client & agency. Audit of data relating to receipt and issue of all free of cost materials & its reconciliation.

• To review allowable wastage for FOC materials as per standards & reconcile the wastage so as to calculate the recovery against additional wastage (if any).

• Audit the extra item: Verifying the need and its rate analysis prepared by agency & examined by client.

• Verification of applicable insurance policy as per contract conditions & government rules.

• Comparative statement for variance, i.e. Changes/modification/addition & alteration from the drawings.

• Mode of measurement: In absence of the mode of measurement in the tender, the latest IS will be followed.

• To prepare observation reports for the bills verified.

• To check the compliances received against audit observation and certifying and stamping the bill.
