Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts for our premium product category. This role involves managing a high-performing sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences in the premium segment.


Key Responsibilities


1. Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for the premium product category.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.

2. Team Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and train sales professionals specializing in premium products.
  • Monitor team performance and provide guidance to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the team.

3. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the customer base in the premium segment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns targeted at high-value customers.

4. Market and Product Expertise

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the premium product portfolio, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Provide feedback to the product team for product enhancement and innovation.
  • Ensure the team is well-informed about product updates, sales techniques, and market dynamics.

5. Reporting and Analytics

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Use CRM tools and other software to monitor and track sales activities effectively.

6. Customer Experience

  • Ensure a superior customer experience by delivering tailored solutions and building trust.
  • Address escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 23 years in a leadership role (preferably in premium/luxury product categories).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
