Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to spearhead our business growth in Kochi and the wider Kerala market.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving revenue, acquiring new clients, and cultivating strong relationships with existing customers within the Audio-Visual (AV) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets and market expansion objectives within the designated region.
- Identify and proactively pursue new business opportunities across diverse sectors, including corporate offices, educational institutions, government projects, hospitality, and healthcare.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor intelligence gathering to identify emerging trends and maintain a competitive edge.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, architects, project management consultants (PMCs), and other industry stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and providing tailored AV solutions that address their specific requirements.
Sales Process Management:
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Technical Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with internal technical, pre-sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical input and support during the sales process, leveraging your understanding of AV products and solutions.
Market Representation:
- Represent Inviot AV Solutions at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking meetings, enhancing brand visibility and generating leads.
- Maintain and grow a strong network of industry contacts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the AV, IT, or technology solutions industry.
- In-depth knowledge of AV products and solutions, including:
- Videoconferencing: Logitech, Cisco, Neat, and Poly VC products.
- Control & Signal Processing: Crestron, Extron, QSys, and Lightware products.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
- Strong understanding of the Kochi and Kerala market
