Job Description : Business Development Manager (BDM) AI/ML.
Position : Business Development Manager (BDM) AI/ML Solutions.
Location : Gurgaon.
Department : Sales/Business Development.
About the Role : We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with good understanding of AI/ML to lead our efforts in growing our AI/ML solutions business.
- The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of AI/ML technologies, market trends, and customer needs, combined with a proven track record in sales and business development.
- As a BDM, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving growth of AI/ML-based products and services.
Key Responsibilities:.
Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities:.
- Prospect for new clients and business opportunities in the AI/ML space.
- Research and identify emerging AI/ML trends and potential markets for business expansion.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate leads, convert prospects into clients, and expand existing business relationships.
- Engage with C-suite executives, decision-makers, and influencers to promote AI/ML solutions.
Relationship Management:.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including potential clients, partners, and influencers in the AI/ML ecosystem.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client requirements, pain points, and business challenges to recommend AI/ML solutions tailored to their needs.
Sales and Revenue Generation:.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs for AI/ML product/solutions sales.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demos to potential clients.
- Work closely with technical experts to ensure the effective delivery of AI/ML solutions that meet client expectations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with prospective clients.
Market and Competitor Analysis:.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of the latest trends in AI/ML technology and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry news, attend relevant conferences, and engage with thought leaders to stay ahead of the competition.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:.
- Work closely with the AI/ML engineering and product development teams to align business development strategies with technological capabilities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns, materials, and messaging for the AI/ML sector.
- Provide valuable feedback to internal teams on customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Reporting and Analytics:.
- Maintain and update the CRM with detailed records of all prospects, leads, and client interactions.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Track and report on sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 1-2 years specifically in AI/ML or related technology sectors.
- Good knowledge of AI/ML technologies, trends, and applications.
- Experience in working with enterprise-level clients and building long-term relationships.
Skills:.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, platforms, and solutions (e. , machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, deep learning).
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
Preferred:.
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, or manufacturing.
- Existing network of contacts within the AI/ML ecosystem or relevant industries
