Nokia BNG Integration Engineer (Urgent Requirement)

Role Overview

As a Nokia BNG Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating and optimizing Nokia Broadband Network Gateways (BNGs) within the network infrastructure. This position requires hands-on expertise in configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless interoperability of BNG devices with existing systems to deliver exceptional network performance and reliability. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with ACL Digital as the payroll organization.

Role & responsibilities

• Configure and deploy Nokia BNG devices in alignment with network requirements.
• Conduct functional, performance, security, and interoperability testing of BNG systems.
• Troubleshoot BNG-related issues and optimize their performance in collaboration with network teams.
• Perform hands-on testing of protocols such as PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, QoS, and RADIUS.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for BNG configurations and test results.
• Support network engineers with end-to-end solutions for seamless integration.

Testing Areas:

• Functional Testing: Verification of PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, QoS features.
• Performance Testing: Validate throughput and capacity.
• Security Testing: Identify vulnerabilities and strengthen security.
• Interoperability Testing: Ensure BNG integration with routers, switches, and other devices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Protocols: PPPoE, DHCP, L2TP, QoS, RADIUS.
• Networking Concepts: IP routing, MPLS, VPNs.
• Familiarity with Nokia NSP or similar network management platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficient in technical documentation and communication.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• CCNA or equivalent certification is required.
