Job Title: Assistant Manager - Quality Control (Pex)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Control professional with over 8 years of experience in the Finance & Accounting process. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with managers and leadership. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Quality Control frameworks to drive process improvement and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Framework & Process Implementation
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Control processes and procedures.
- Ensure quality frameworks are operational post-issue resolution.
- Conduct statistical data analysis to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with industry verticals to recommend solutions for quality issues.
- Design, implement, and refine testing processes to identify potential issues.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Quality Testing of accounting activities.
- Coordinate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation in collaboration with Process Owners.
- Conduct Process walkthroughs, tests of design, and tests of effectiveness to evaluate control compliance.
- Coordinate quarterly review and certification of Detailed Desk Procedures.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Improvement:
- Monitor quality metrics such as defect rates, quality ratings, and customer satisfaction.
- Report findings to management and propose actionable improvements.
- Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Collaborate across teams within the Client Advisory Services vertical.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
- Conduct "Know Your Controls" sessions to promote compliance awareness.
Client & Team Interaction:
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Represent and promote the Firm positively and professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Accounting degree (B.Com (General) / B.Com (A&F)), MBA, M.Com, CA, or CMA (Intermediate).
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma / Six Sigma Black Belt / Quality Management is a plus.
- Work Experience:
- 8+ years in Quality Control, Finance, and Accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP, Accounts Payable/Receivable, GL close, and financial reporting.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Project).
- Experience with accounting tools like QBO, Yardi, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct is an advantage.
