Job Description
- The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of three (3) Application Architects hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Application Developer, and the specifications outlined in this submission for Texas Department of Motor Vehicles
- Performs application development; in support of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), Information Technology (IT)
- Conducts application development based on agency requirements and advises manager of status of release based on results of testing performed for a software release to be implemented into production
- The primary work location(s) will be at Remote
- The working position is Telework
- Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity
- PreferredSkills/Experience 8RequiredExperience programming with Java/J2EE and web programming concepts 8RequiredExperience in software development 8RequiredKnowledge of Linux operating Systems, Apache Tomcat, webservices, DB2 database, writing and executing complex SQL queries 8RequiredExercises logic and reasoning to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- 8RequiredEffective oral and written communication 8RequiredWorking in a team environment and ability to communicate and assist with training other team members
- 6RequiredExperience guiding and recommending Application Architecture and Standardization 4RequiredExperience with JIRA and JAMA 4RequiredWorking with Azure DevOps 8PreferredExperience performing code reviews
