Senior Cybersecurity Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Manager with a strong background in blue and red teaming to lead our cybersecurity initiatives. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, simulating advanced attack scenarios, and enhancing defence mechanisms. The ideal candidate will also focus on infrastructure improvement and team development, ensuring our cybersecurity strategy aligns with evolving threats and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage blue and red teaming exercises to assess and improve organizational defences.
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios to identify vulnerabilities and propose actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to address findings from red team assessments.
• Leading a portfolio of engagements and projects with our clients.
• Working with prospective clients to identify opportunities, scope engagements, and create high quality proposals
• Implement robust detection, response, and recovery strategies based on blue team insights.

• Evaluate current security infrastructure and propose enhancements to align with industry best practices.
• Design and implement secure architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Drive innovation by adopting modern cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

• Perform security risk and controls assessments and/or penetration testing to evaluate and analyze threat, vulnerability, impact, risk and security issues to Business.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing cybersecurity team. Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team members' technical expertise.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and proactive security measures.
• Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and support for professional development.

• Lead risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential cybersecurity threats.
• Establish and refine incident response protocols to handle breaches effectively.
• Ensure thorough root cause analysis and post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

• Candidates with B.Tech or M Tech degree are preferred.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 3+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven expertise in conducting and managing red and blue team operations.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent.
• Should have experience working with clients on

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of threat modelling, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
• Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and DLP.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, and NIST.

Compliance and Governance:

• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, ISO 27701, NIST, GDPR).
• Maintain up-to-date security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address emerging cybersecurity requirements.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
