Content Editor Internship

Designation : Content Editor
Duration of Internship : 6 months (Full-time internship)
Paid Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Proofreading, fact-checking (when needed), and editing content
2. Reading and evaluating written text for grammatical and spelling errors
3. Comparing edited content against the original copy to identify errors or omissions
4. Rephrasing written text to ensure content consistency
5. Staying updated with grammatical developments and new terminologies in English
6. Editing according to the US English style while ensuring proper usage of words and grammar
7. Contacting SMEs or freelancers to clarify grammatical inconsistencies related to style and text choice
8. Ensuring the quality of content is maintained
9. Completing the project within set time constraints

1. Bachelors or Master's degree in Journalism, English, or related field
2. Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio
3. Should be an avid reader
4. Hands-on experience with MS Office, publishing tools, CMS
5. Strong communication skills, highly organized, an eye for detail along with critical thinking, prioritizing, and multitasking skills
6. A team player with the ability to deliver content within deadlines while maintaining consistency of content
