Job Summary:

We are looking for a Marine Cargo Surveyor. This position covers Marine Surveying on Ship and for Cargoes.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marine Vessel/Cargo Surveyor at Intertek in Paradip. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys of Ships and its cargoes, assessing and documenting, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. Travelling as per workscope.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Crane Surveys on Geared Bulk Carriers
• Draft Surveys
• Bunker and Condition surveys
• Pre-load/Discharge Cargo Surveys
• Container Inspections
• Damage assessments
• P&I Surveys / Investigations

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate with sharp presence of mind and good logical thinking.
• Previous experience in Marine vessel / cargo surveying is a plus.
• 1 Year of Sailing Background (deck or engine) / Naval Arch will be added advantage.
