Logistics Manager / Asst. Manager / Sr. Executive (SCM)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle and have a good understanding of basic logistics and supply chain management processes.
• Should have experience in Logistics & SCM in manufacturing / Engineering industry.
• Handle vendor management, transportation & customer follow-up & dispatch of material Domestic & international.
• Planning, tracking and monitoring the high volume of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordination with customers, freight forwarders, CHA, customs and other stakeholders regarding shipment.
• Create, and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
• Experience and understanding of ERP systems and inventory management.
• Comfortable with logistics-related documentation such as clearance documents and freight handling and shipment (Import and export).
• Work with various internal and external logistics partners to timely transfer and arrange the delivery of the parts to the right locations.
• Sound knowledge of sales order dispatch, bill/invoice documents & related challans.
• Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate/postgraduate with 7 - 12 years of relevant experience in the field of Logistics in manufacturing / Engineering industry.
• Diploma/MBA in Logistics or SCM would be preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and E-Mails.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Working logically and systematically as per the company process.
• Immediate joining would be preferred.
