Job Description

Job Title: International Sales Representative Healthcare (U.S. Market Focus)

Location: Wakad, Pune

Reports To: Director of Global Sales




Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive, results-driven International Sales Representative to spearhead our business development efforts in the U.S. healthcare market. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and converting new leads, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and driving sales of our healthcare products and solutions. This role requires a strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals while working closely with the U.S. market to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify, research, and generate leads in the U.S. healthcare sector, targeting hospitals, healthcare providers, clinics, and distributors. Use various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and industry events.
  • Business Development: Build a pipeline of qualified opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the U.S. healthcare market. Effectively introduce and promote our products, solutions, and services to potential clients.
  • Sales Conversion: Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial lead contact to deal closure. Utilize consultative selling techniques to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts that align with company objectives.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage directly with U.S.-based clients to establish rapport, provide product demonstrations, answer inquiries, and drive product adoption. Ensure customer satisfaction by offering effective solutions and follow-up support.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on U.S. healthcare market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Use insights to adjust sales strategies, improve messaging, and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software. Provide regular reports on lead generation efforts, conversions, and sales targets to senior management.
  • Collaboration with U.S. Teams: Coordinate with the U.S. sales, marketing, and customer support teams to align strategies, share feedback, and optimize client engagement efforts. Ensure a seamless experience for U.S. clients from initial contact through post-sale support.
  • Relationship Building: Establish long-term relationships with U.S. healthcare clients, focusing on both immediate sales and future growth opportunities. Provide excellent customer service and ensure client retention.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all sales practices comply with U.S. healthcare regulations and industry standards, as well as internal policies and ethical guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record (typically 3+ years) in sales and business development, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industry, with a focus on lead generation and conversion.
  • Experience engaging with U.S.-based healthcare providers, distributors, or institutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close sales in a competitive environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the U.S. healthcare market, including regulations, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, prioritize leads, and achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales automation tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve sales targets.
  • Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel domestically within the U.S. as required.
