Role & responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (30%)
1. *Manage Accounts Receivable*: Oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, credit notes, and payment processing.
2. *Maintain Accurate Records*: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, including invoices, payments, and credit notes.
3. *Analyze and Resolve Discrepancies*: Analyze and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts, including investigating and resolving payment issues.
MIS and Reporting (25%)
1. *Develop and Maintain MIS*: Design, develop, and maintain management information systems (MIS) to provide insights and support business decision-making.
2. *Prepare Financial Reports*: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. *Provide Insights and Recommendations*: Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data and trends.
ERP Implementation and Maintenance (20%)
1. *Implement and Maintain ERP Systems*: Implement and maintain enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to support business operations and financial management.
2. *Configure and Customize ERP Systems*: Configure and customize ERP systems to meet business requirements and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
3. *Provide ERP Training and Support*: Provide training and support to end-users on ERP systems and ensure that they are utilized effectively.
Financial Analysis and Planning (15%)
1. *Analyze Financial Data*: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
2. *Develop Financial Models*: Develop financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
3. *Provide Financial Insights and Recommendations*: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decision-making.
Compliance and Risk Management (10%)
1. *Ensure Compliance with Financial Regulations*: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
2. *Identify and Mitigate Financial Risks*: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
3. *Develop and Implement Financial Controls*: Develop and implement financial controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
Preferred candidate profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
