ISS STOXX is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Python + React.js) to join our team in Mumbai (Goregaon East), India.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web technologies, including Python (Django/Flask), React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and Cloud like AWS. Experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, Containerization, and NHost platform is highly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance web applications using Python (Django/Flask), React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, and work with third-party APIs.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, etc.) to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in web development with Python (Django/Flask) and React.js.
• Strong experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL database design and SQL querying.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Experience with Docker/Podman for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and processes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in collaborative teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.
• Familiarity with the NHost platform for serverless backend management.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
• Knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as Redux, React Router, etc.
• Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
