Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SEO strategies: The SEO expert is responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve website visibility and rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs).
- Keyword research: The SEO expert should be skilled in keyword research to identify and prioritize the most relevant and effective keywords for the website's target audience.
- On-page optimization: The SEO expert should be knowledgeable in optimizing website content, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking to improve website crawl ability and relevance for search engines.
- Off-page optimization: The SEO expert should be experienced in developing off-page optimization tactics such as link building, guest blogging, and social media optimization to improve website authority and trustworthiness.
- Technical optimization: The SEO expert should be able to identify and solve technical issues on the website that can negatively impact search engine rankings, such as site speed, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup.
- Analytics and reporting: The SEO expert should be able to monitor website traffic and rankings, analyze data using tools such as Google Analytics, and provide regular reports on SEO performance and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with SEO trends: The SEO expert should stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices, as well as algorithm updates from search engines such as Google.
- Collaborate with other departments: The SEO expert should be able to collaborate with other departments such as content marketing, web development, and social media to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to SEO.
- Monitoring and analyzing: The SEO expert should be able to monitor & analyze competitor websites to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
- Generating regular reports: The SEO expert should be able to track website traffic, search engine rankings, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / MBA in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SEO with a proven track record of improving.
- Website ranking and traffic.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
