German Language Trainer (C Level)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality German language lessons up to A2 level, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the language.
• Design lesson plans and create engaging learning materials tailored to students needs and proficiency levels.
• Conduct one-on-one and group classes, either in-person or online.
• Assess students language skills and progress, providing feedback and advice for improvement.
• Organize and lead interactive language practice sessions, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment for students.
• Stay updated with the latest language learning methodologies, tools, and trends.
• Provide cultural insights and context to enhance students' understanding of the German-speaking world.
• Evaluate and report on students' progress regularly.
• Prepare students for language certifications or proficiency exams, if applicable.

Qualifications:

• Native-level or near-native proficiency in German (C- level or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with linguistics proficiency in German language
• Proven experience in teaching German as a foreign language (minimum 2-3 years).
• Experience teaching all levels, from beginners to advanced (A1-B2 level).
• Certification in Teaching German as a Foreign Language (from DaF, Goethe, TELC) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CEFR language proficiency standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and adapt to their learning styles.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for online teaching.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Hindi / English languages is an advantage.
• Familiarity with language learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience in corporate or business German language instruction.
• Understanding of German culture and its application in language teaching.
