Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (5 To 7 yrs) - Urgent Hiring

We are looking for a deadline-focused technical recruiter to be responsible for the sourcing, screening, and hiring of technical specialists to fill IT positions. The technical recruiter's responsibilities include all aspects of hiring from identifying, recruiting, screening, and presenting good candidates for technology positions, to collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements and write job descriptions to offer job positions to the most suitable candidates. You should be focused, hard-working, and able to meet deadlines to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Communicating with hiring managers to identify future job openings and the technical requirements for those jobs.
• Writing job descriptions and posting to relevant media platforms.
• Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
• Screening applicants for competency with the job requirements.
• Arranging telephone, video, or in-person interviews.
• Presenting the resumes of the most suitable candidates to the hiring manager.
• Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
• Offering job positions and completing the relevant paperwork.
• Performing background and reference checks.
• Keeping track of all applicants as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
• Guides/trains other team members with best practices in talent acquisition
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
• Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• A Bachelor of Science or human resources degree.
• A good understanding of technology and technical skills.
• Experience in recruitment processes and platforms.
